This coffee was grown by Linarco Rodriguez at the farm El Diviso. It was exposed to dry aerobic fermentation for 24 hours before being placed inside Grainpro bags for 50 hours at a temperature below 22 degrees Celsius. The whole cherries were then placed on raised beds until they reached 11 percent moisture content.
This microlot is 100 percent Geisha. This varietal was first discovered in Abyssinia, Ethiopia, in 1931. Geisha was planted in Panama for the first time in 1963 and in Colombia in 2005.
